James & Kate
James and Kate are an enthusiastic team, with a reputation for thoughtful attention and exceptional service. Having worked on a variety of cruising and performance yachts around the world, they are the perfect crew to create a luxury experience in exclusive sailing destinations.
James hales from the Cornish Coast of Great Britain and has been on the water since he was born. Over his professional career he has logged 80,000 miles through the U.K., Mediterranean, Pacific, USA and Caribbean. He is an experienced RYA Yacht Master, IIMS Marine Surveyor, Advanced Windsurf Instructor and PADI Dive Master. With a passion for all water sports, James has chased wind and waves around the world.
A natural explorer, Kate’s travels led her away from the East Coast of the U.S.A. and eventually to James and the sailing world. She is a competent sailor and avid diver with a PADI Dive Master certification. Trained in New York City, Kate is a versatile chef with a focus on contemporary fresh flavors and quality whole foods. She brings a dynamic energy to the galley and enjoys finding regional and seasonal specialties to include in her menu.
James and Kate are gracious hosts who provide guests a truly memorable experience.
